Jean Sibelius

Jean Sibelius is above all remembered for his symphonies, the Violin Concerto as well as for his tone poems. Besides these monumental works however, he was also much loved for his short piano pieces. In later years he arranged some of them, such as this Impromptu, for string orchestra.
