The Pacific Rim Festival Australia 2001
The Sapphire Coast Russian Music Festival is the first part of Ensemble XXI Moscow’s Pacific-Rim Music Festival, which  brings music to audiences in smaller and more remote communities and, in particular, to encourage children to develop an interest in classical music.
As a result, the Festival began with a week of concerts dedicated exclusively to schools and musical Ensemble XXI gave concerts in schools. The festival featured children from the Russia demonstrations for children. The festival featured children from the Russian island of Sakhalin, who performed together with Ensemble XXI Moscow and Australian musicians.
About 400 children attended the concert, which was performed for an Aboriginal community for the first time.
